Kairi State School is a small, rural school situated near Tinaroo Dam, on the Atherton Tablelands. Our students have a diverse socio-economic and cultural background. The local community supports the school in various ways and we have an active Parents and Citizens’ Association.
Highly skilled and experienced teachers and teaching assistants, one of whom is full-time in Prep, deliver the curriculum.
Teachers work cooperatively, focussing on individual student achievement. We are a proud member of Atherton Cluster of Educators.
Our classes are multi-age, and a strong sense of caring for younger students prevails in and out of class. Our physical environment is modern and well resourced.
